Responsibilities

Handle your own caseload of litigated insurance defense matters, including general liability, premises liability, and minor auto claims
Draft responsive pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
Conduct depositions, prepare legal research, and participate in motion practice
Collaborate with senior attorneys and gain direct litigation exposure
Contribute to a supportive, high-performance team with hybrid work flexibility

Qualification

Active Texas law licenseCivil litigation experienceGeneral liability knowledgeAdvocacy skillsMeet deadlinesManage multiple filesTrial prep experienceInterest in professional developmentWork independently

Required

Active license to practice law in the state of Texas
Approximately 2+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense
Familiarity with general liability, premises, or auto liability claims
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple files
Strong written and oral advocacy skills

Preferred

Trial prep experience or familiarity with high-volume litigation environments
Exposure to first-party insurance or commercial auto claims
Interest in long-term growth and professional development
