Responsibilities

Understands all aspects of vascular disease and performs different types of noninvasive vascular testing with accuracy and analytical skills

Responsible for the operation of the laboratory equipment

Performing and communicating results of all types of noninvasive vascular testing to other healthcare providers

Maintain a high standard of medical ethics at all times

Self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of vascular diseases as well as new procedures and applications as they evolve

CCI Registered Vascular SonographerARDMS Registered Vascular TechnologistBasic Life SupportCardiovascular ultrasonographyAnalytical skills

High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper

Basic Life Support

CCI Registered Vascular Sonographer

ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist

Graduate from an accredited allied health program, preferably with separate track on cardiovascular ultrasonography

Must acquire within 1 year of employment: ARDMS - Registered Vascular Technologist or CCI - Registered Vascular Sonographer

Current BLS certification by the American Heart Association

Preferred

5 years experience strongly preferred

Advanced certification strongly preferred
