Responsibilities

Provide proficient technical support by assisting the physician with patient preparation, intra and post-interventional/surgical procedures, management of supplies and devices, physiologic patient monitoring and assisting with direct patient care
Responsible for safe and effective operation of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment as well as specialized imaging and technical equipment used for procedures
Act as a patient/family educator, advocate and liaison

Required

High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper
Basic Life Support
Cardiovascular or Cardiopulmonary Technologist (CVT) from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology or a graduate of a diploma, associate, or baccalaureate academic program in health science (includes, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or nursing)
Proof of RCIS or RCES exam eligibility required
Completes a minimum of 12 CEU‘s annually (10 CEU‘s must be CV related)
1 year minimum required experience

Preferred

Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
