Responsibilities

Prepares, organizes and monitors the sterile field environment under the direction of a surgeon and registered nurse for assigned surgical case

Performs OB technician duties for vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, and other GYN surgical procedures

Maintains equipment and supply inventory to insure optimal safety, efficiency, and timely response to patient care needs within the unit

Assists in Newborn nursery and postpartum units as needed and directed

Qualification
