Responsibilities

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories or industry segments. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. Understand their unique needs and provide tailored insurance solutions to meet those needs
Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential exposures and recommend appropriate insurance products and services
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including underwriters and account managers, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide clients with the most relevant and up-to-date information
Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand your professional network and promote RPS services

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
Proven experience in insurance sales, business development, or a related field, preferably within the wholesale space
Strong knowledge of insurance products, risk management, and industry regulations
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
Relevant insurance licenses as required by state regulations
