Responsibilities

Build and share experience and evidence based thought leadership in the Azure, Cloud and Big Data domain through various channels and provide inputs on creating and enhancing enduring solutions for client

Support pre-sales activities including conducting discovery workshops, developing point of views/solutions/scoping, writing proposals, and supporting sales and marketing enablement for Azure, Cloud and Big Data related technologies

Provide advisory consulting to new and existing customers, support delivery hand-offs, address unmet needs, and manage client expectations for their Azure, Cloud and Big Data technologies

Develop and share expertise in Azure, Cloud and Big Data technologies and actively mine the experience and expertise in the organization for sharing across teams and clients in the firm

Provide support for recruitment, coaching and mentoring, and building practice capacity in the project team(s) in Azure, Cloud and Big Data technologies

Required

Consulting experience with large-scale implementations on Microsoft Azure modernization initiatives

Experience with Architecture creation and delivery which includes understanding requirements, formulating design, and communicating the architecture along with TCO roadmap

Experience with Modern Data Architectures, DevOps & Agile engineering practices

Experience in Greenfields implementation of Azure Infra, Networks, Storage, Apps and Azure DevOps

Experience with Azure Resource Manager, Resource Groups, Virtual Networks, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob Storage, PowerShell DSC, Azure Automation, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Site Recovery

Experience in building Batch/Micro-batch/Real time data pipelines using native Azure services for Data Integration, Data Processing & Data Consumption including but not limited to Azure HDInsight, Azure Databricks, Azure Portal, Log Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Catalog, Power BI, Azure Search, Azure Functions, Azure Stream Analytics and Azure Event Hub

Experience with Azure Governance and Best Practices (Role Based Access Control, Networking Architectures, Cost Management controls, etc.)

Unified data governance experience with Microsoft Purview

Knowledge of Azure Security components such as Azure Security Centre, Security Operations, Microsoft Defender

Experience in developing and deploying Cloud Native Applications using Azure PaaS Capabilities (App Services Plans, Key Vault, SQL Azure DB, Azure Functions, Containers, AKS, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management)

Experience with programming languages such as Python, Scala, and Java

Working knowledge on Architecture design, Modelling, prototyping, and benchmarking of DataStore/ EDW solutions

Data Modelling experience on leading Cloud SQL database – Snowflake for BI consumption

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)

Demonstrated continued learning through one or more technical certifications or related methods

At least 12 years of IT experience; Minimum 4 - 7 years of experience on Azure related projects

Self-motivated and focused on delivering outcomes for a fast-growing team and firm

Able to communicate persuasively through speaking, writing, and client presentations

Able to consult, write, and present persuasively

Able to work in a self-organized and cross-functional team
