Responsibilities
Responsible for Production Support of Data Applications on AWS Cloud
Responsible for co-ordination with Application Teams (Upstream/ Downstream) for jobs and others for smooth running of applications in Cloud
Responsible for coordinating application releases, change management, and governance as per CI-CD
Responsible for Monitoring AWS Cloud, including alerts setup and taking measures as per the requirement along with cloud Admin
Working for meeting business SLA's, and tracking them
Responsible for Incident Management and providing Production Support for Ad-Hoc requests on Cloud Applications
Responsible for Event Management, and Maintenance of the environment (Upgrades, Patches, and DR's)
Work as custodians of Best Practices for the environment, and setup right Governance and check-points to ensure adherence by development teams
Document problems and defects and improve support processes by creating new Knowledge Base articles
Qualification
Required

Linux admin for applications which are built over Unix
AWS Certification is a preferred one for the Associate
BS Degree in IT, MIS or business related functional discipline
Strong self-leadership and ability to work independently and manage conflict
Cloud AWS Services – EC2, EMR, RDS, S3, Cloud Watch, Cloud Monitor, IAM, Lambda, Kinesis
Big Data (Knowledge): Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, Spark, YARN
Programming Language (Knowledge): Should be proficient in at least two of the below language: Scala, Python, SQL, Talend
Operating System (Knowledge): Any flavor of Linux
Databases (Good to have): MemSQL, AWS DBs (Arora, RDS), Teradata, Snowflake (nice to have), Working knowledge with Control M
Others – Jenkins, Github, Jira
