Responsibilities

Perform all MRI routine procedures for the diagnostic treatment of specified diseases or conditions
Communicate orally with patients and staff
Demonstrate manual dexterity and visual acuity
Assume awkward positions and respond to emergency situations
Bend and lift as required for patient care
Provide care based on the patient’s developmental need
Interact effectively with patients of all ages, including neo-natal, newborns, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Required

ARRT Registered or a Graduate from an Associate in Applied Science in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), required
AHA CPR provided by Cape Fear Valley Training and Development required at orientation and maintained
Any applicant not registered as an ARRT in MRI must provide documentation of application with the ARRT to sit for the MRI registry
Registered in MRI with the ARRT is required post one (1) year of hiring date
Failure to achieve registration post one (1) year will result in termination of employment
Applicant must be able to communicate orally
Must have manual dexterity and visual acuity
Must have mobility to assume awkward positions
Must have mobility to respond to emergency situations
Must be able to bend and lift
Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development and understand the range of treatment needed for all age groups
Provide care based on the patient's developmental need
Experienced in the treatment, care of and interacts effectively with patients of all ages to include neo-natal, newborns, adolescents, adults and geriatrics
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
Position may involve skin, eye, or mucous membrane contact with blood or other potentially infectious material
Required Licenses And Certifications: ARRT - American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists

Preferred

One to two years experience preferred
