Qualification

Clinical Laboratory TechnologistHematologyChemistryN. Y. State licenseASCP certification

Required

A Bachelor's degree (e. g., BA, BS, BSN, BSW). Degree in Medical Technology or a related science Bachelors Medical Technology
N. Y. State license-Clinical Laboratory Technologist
Generalist technologist in the areas of Hematology and Chemistry
Standing or sitting in the same location; may require to stoop, climb or lift light material (20 lbs. or less) or equipment
Located in an indoor area with frequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature, and noise
Category 1 - plus Tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, and other potentially infectious materials. Subject to electrical and radiant energy HAZARDS. Exposed to odorous chemicals and specimens
