Responsibilities

Lead, plan, and manage capture strategies in your assigned markets
Build and qualify a robust pipeline of opportunities—both tactical and strategic
Drive major capture efforts up to $100M in value from identification through award
Develop and execute comprehensive capture strategies, including solutioning, teaming, pricing, staffing, and positioning
Build and lead high-performing capture teams and delegate effectively across the BD lifecycle
Analyze customer needs, goals, decision drivers, and biases to craft winning solutions
Conduct competitive assessments to evaluate CACI’s positioning relative to competitors
Collaborate across business lines to develop compliant, compelling, and executable proposals
Lead milestone and gate reviews to ensure capture progress and internal alignment
Maintain opportunity tracking and forecasting through an organized knowledge management system
Identify and negotiate teaming agreements with industry partners to expand capabilities and competitiveness
Recommend innovative technical solutions—leveraging internal talent and vendor offerings to create value
Build trusted relationships with customers, continuously shaping opportunities and providing strategic insights back to BD leadership
Oversee proposal and capture continuity across all phases of the business development lifecycle, increasing win probability and internal efficiency

Required

Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in capture management, business development, or related activities (or equivalent education plus experience)
Proven ability to develop and lead capture strategies for technical and solution-oriented opportunities
Demonstrated leadership in building and managing industry teams, developing win strategies, and executing capture plans
Strong writing and communication skills across a range of formats and audiences
Experience independently managing multiple priorities and collaborating across departments
Ability to brief senior stakeholders, executives, and customer decision-makers
Successful track record of managing multi-disciplinary project teams
Deep understanding of federal acquisition processes and ability to manage time-sensitive, complex projects
Familiarity with DoD and Federal Government technologies, contracting methods, and vendors
Proven ability to lead, delegate, and problem-solve effectively under pressure

Preferred

Master's degree in a technical or business field (e.g., economics, finance, engineering, computer science)
Demonstrated success in federal government capture management, including leading pursuits up to $100M
Experience identifying and winning single-award contracts in the federal space, particularly in program management, strategic communications, IT support, and acquisition
Prior business development experience with DoD, VA, or DHS
Active or recent Secret Clearance (DoD or Intelligence Community)
