Program Coordinator, Career Education Options

Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for program inquiries and applications
Provide clear and accurate information about program services, policies, and eligibility requirements to applicants, families, and partner organizations
Assist applicants in completing required forms and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Schedule and conduct intake interviews to gather relevant information from applicants
Collect data, documents and maintain electronic files for students to maintain compliance with state regulations and laws
Maintain detailed and organized records of applicant files, including electronic and physical documentation
Enter and update applicant information in program databases accurately and in a timely manner
Prepare reports on intake and eligibility metrics as required by supervisors
Review applications and supporting documents to determine eligibility based on program WAC's and RCW's
Verify applicant information, and other required documentation
Maintain compliance with state WAC's and RCW's, institution and organizational policies when assessing eligibility
Communicate eligibility decisions to applicants in a timely and professional manner
Recommend alternative resources or services to ineligible applicants
Provide information sessions to potential students, parents and other public organizations
Collaborate with community partners, referral agencies, and internal departments for resources for students
Participate in outreach events and activities to promote the program and attract eligible participants
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Graduate or equivalent
Two (2) years of customer service experience
Proficient in Microsoft office software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain accuracy
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including effective customer service skills
Experience working effectively in a collaborative environment with diverse employees, and customer/client groups
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Preferred
Experience presenting program requirements and material
Two years of experience working with At Risk youth, or equivalent education/experience in related field
