Responsibilities
Provide tax and consulting services such as preparing federal and state tax returns
Researching relevant tax issues
Communicating their impact on clients’ businesses
Preparing year-end tax projections
Learning to develop and deliver tax planning strategies
Providing services related to planning assurance engagements
Preparing financial statements
Conducting testing procedures
Identifying and assisting in the resolution of client issues
Other financial reporting matters
Qualification
Required
BS or MS in Accounting
Solid academic performance and achievement in relevant areas of study
Preferred
Technical accounting knowledge
Problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work effectively on a team as well as independently
Effective time management skills
Relevant internship or work experience is helpful, but not required
