They are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support enterprise customers in migrating to their platform, working closely with customer engineering teams and addressing complex data workflows and platform issues.

Responsibilities

Support one of our enterprise customers as they move to the IOMETE data lakehouse platform
Work closely with the customer's engineering teams and act as an extension of their internal staff
Lead their migration from legacy platforms like Cloudera, Databricks, Teradata, Greenplum, or Dremio
Support large data workflows, solve platform issues, and help the customer get the most from IOMETE
Work with our product and engineering teams to share what you're seeing in the field and help shape improvements

Qualification

SparkApache IcebergSQLPythonKubernetesData warehouse experienceCloud migrationLegacy systems experienceClear communication

Required

Strong technical knowledge in data engineering
Experience with Spark for large-scale data processing
Experience with Apache Iceberg for table storage and optimization
Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing data
Proficiency in Python or PySpark for building data pipelines
Experience with Kubernetes and container-based deployment
Experience working with data warehouses and legacy systems
Experience helping with cloud and on-prem migrations
Clear written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Experience with Cloudera
Experience with Databricks
Experience with Teradata
Experience with Dremio
Experience with Greenplum
