They are seeking a Senior Tax Associate to utilize their tax and accounting skills to identify risks and opportunities in tax compliance and consulting engagements, while also supporting the development of team members.

Accounting

Responsibilities

Utilize research, foundational tax, and accounting skills to identify potential risks and opportunities on a variety of tax compliance and consulting engagements
Prepare and review complex tax returns, projections, and models
Learn from on the job coaching and mentoring
Build on technical skills by keeping up with industry trends and technical authorities and apply them to complex situations
Demonstrate effective project and time management skills by being able to prioritize a variety of tasks and delegate work to associates
Support the growth and development of team members and help associates meet their professional goals

Qualification

Public accounting experienceTechnical tax conceptsCPAEA licenseCommunication skillsOrganizational skillsSelf-motivation

Required

BS/BA degree in Accounting
2+ years of public accounting experience
Self-motivation
Strong communication and organizational skills
Foundational knowledge of technical tax concepts

Preferred

CPA or EA license
