Store Designer

They are seeking an experienced Store Designer responsible for developing and implementing store designs that enhance customer experience while collaborating with various departments to ensure functional and aesthetic store layouts.

Responsibilities

Manages the planning and implementation of Global Real Estate projects through store design which includes all new stores, existing fleet remodels, and closures
Designs effective store layouts that optimize space utilization, and consistently adapts and translates store prototypes to various site conditions and locations
Coordinates end-to-end project workflow by meeting project deadlines, including feasibility studies, proposed store planning, and approved store implementation
Project manages design budget and pre-construction process; effectively supervises architect, engineer, external vendors and permit execution to ensure key project milestones are met efficiently and on time
Clearly and effectively communicates with internal and external partners to successfully facilitate the implementation of store designs
Prepares detailed design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, select renderings, shop drawings and landlord documentation, etc. as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Retail Design, or related experience
7+ years of work experience in retail design or similar role
Proficiency in design software in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch-up or similar
Knowledgeable of general domestic & international code restrictions
General understanding of constructability
Strong understanding of retail design principles, visual merchandising, and customer behavior
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Organized with ability to prioritize and forecast into challenges and/or opportunities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a team of diverse business partners
Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
Energetic, positive, creative problem solving with a solution-based outlook
Self-motivated – ability to work independently and drive results
