Responsibilities

Lead the proposal process for government contracts, ensuring that all submissions are timely, compliant, and of the highest quality
Work closely with the Growth team to align proposal efforts with strategic objectives and identify new business opportunities
Maintain and update proposal templates and libraries, conducting post-submission reviews, and staying abreast of industry trends to continuously improve our proposal processes
Be a key contributor to the broader proposal management strategy, helping to refine our processes and elevate the quality of our submissions across the board

Required

3-6+ years of experience in proposal management, writing, or a related field
Manage the end-to-end proposal process, including scheduling, coordination, compliance checks, and final delivery
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple proposal efforts simultaneously
Familiarity with the proposal lifecycle, including capture management, RFP/RFI analysis, and compliance
Exceptional writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity, conciseness, and persuasiveness
Experience in developing technical and non-technical content for proposals, including executive summaries, technical volumes, and past performance
Understanding of growth and sales strategies, with the ability to align proposal efforts with broader business objectives
Experience in market research and competitive analysis to inform proposal strategies and positioning
Strong project management skills with the ability to set and meet deadlines under pressure
Proficiency in managing resources, timelines, and deliverables to ensure high-quality proposals
Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
Experience in supporting growth administration and coordination efforts, aligning proposal activities with broader business objectives
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
Ability to facilitate meetings, including proposal kick-offs, reviews, and debriefs, ensuring all contributors are aligned and informed
U.S. citizenship

Preferred

Government Contracting Experience: Previous experience in managing proposals for government contracts, with a strong understanding of government procurement processes, compliance standards, and federal acquisition regulations
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor junior proposal team members
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific technical requirements and standards, enhancing the ability to craft tailored, compliant proposals
