Responsibilities

Direct and manage survey staff on the technical aspects of projects, including coordination with all disciplines involved

Plan and oversee the quality review process of survey work and project deliverables

Lead the effort for assembling technical survey staff resources for the group

Provide a consultative resource to clients for project resolution

Demonstrate competency to oversee all survey tasks and further develop subject matter expertise

Promote efficiencies in producing quality work and ensure the accuracy of surveys

Direct other technical staff in the design approach to meet project requirements

Understand, identify, and avoid potential safety hazards for workers and the public in and around project sites

Supervise and review assignments of less experienced staff

Required

Strong communication skills

Ability to contribute and work well on a team

A minimum of 10 years of surveying experience

Must be registered as a land surveyor

Ability to teach and mentor staff

The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Associate degree in surveying
