Responsibilities

Develop and implement machine visions systems for automation systems, quality inspection, defect detection, and process monitoring

Specify, procure, validate, and sustain vision system components such as cameras, lenses, lighting, controllers, and software

Oversee the installation, validation, and commissioning of vision systems in production environments across multiple product lines

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate high-precision inspection systems into production lines and automation systems

Lead efforts into RCCA on vision systems and process failures

Train production staff on the operation and maintenance of vision systems

Required

Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar

4+ years of experience in developing and maintaining vision systems in a manufacturing environment

Demonstrated experience developing vision system platforms (e.g., Cognex, Keyence, Gocator, iRVision, Halcon) and programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, OpenCV)

Strong understanding of image processing algorithms, optics, and lighting principles

Hands-on experience with industrial automation systems (e.g., PLCs, robotics)

Familiarity with advanced defect detection techniques, AI-based vision systems, and SPC methodologies

Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Preferred

Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
