They are seeking a Staff Accountant to support financial operations, focusing on used machinery sales, inventory reconciliation, and financial analysis for internal departments and partnership entities.

Responsibilities

Perform costing and inventory reconciliations for Used Machinery sales
Report and file Heavy Equipment Inventory Tax (HEIT) and Motor Vehicle Inventory Tax (MVIT) monthly
Reconcile Accounts Receivable, Notes Receivable, and Bad Debt Allowance accounts
Maintain and reconcile Miscellaneous Accruals
Handle accounting for select partnership entities
Prepare monthly gross profit and expense analysis for Used Machinery and partnership divisions
Assist with general ledger, internal reporting, and month-end close activities
Support financial analysis and audit preparation as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (BBA preferred)
Must provide college/university transcripts
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
Strong reconciliation and financial analysis abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Must have experience with XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred

BBA preferred
Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
