Responsibilities

Perform IR/EO test planning and execution
Perform IR/EO, data acquisition, data QA, and data processing
Perform IR/EO and data analysis and generate technical reports
Support equipment/instrumentation maintenance and operational checkout

Qualification

Required

Minimum bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, or physics
Strong capabilities in data acquisition and data processing
Ability to perform image processing or code development
Background in electromagnetics or wave propagation theory
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
Ability to travel and support physical activities
Candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance or favorable adjudication of a national security background investigation

Preferred

Advanced degree is preferred
2-3 years of technically relevant experience preferred
Job experience with the Navy or other DoD laboratories is a plus
Current completion of a successful background investigation is a plus
