Advantest is seeking an experienced Application Engineering Manager to lead and oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of HPC account support strategies for 93k products. The ideal candidate will manage a team of application engineers to ensure customer support, test coverage, and time-to-market goals are met.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of application engineers in developing and deploying test programs for high-volume production with our customers

Generate project plans for projects and well manage the project schedule

Perform as a good communicator, listener and customer decision influencer

Define and execute test strategies and roadmaps aligned with product and business goals

Oversee test hardware (load boards, probe cards, interface hardware) and software development for 93k

Collaborate closely with customer, sales, BD/MKT, COE and R&D teams to define product strategies and ensure testability

Own and monitor KPIs related to test development and production quality

Ensure timely support for new product introductions (NPIs) and transitions to high-volume manufacturing

Manage ATE infrastructure, tools, and vendor relationships

Support root cause analysis of test escapes, false failures, and yield issues

Lead hiring, mentoring, performance management, and career development for the test engineering team
