Responsibilities

Create and modify software which models satellite positions and simulates collection operations
Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions
Assist with the testing and deployment of code in a secure cloud environment
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
Actively participate in the agile development process, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups

Required

10+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or a related field
Java Script
Familiarity with PostgreSQL
Basic Modeling and Simulation Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, computer science, data science, engineering, math, statistics, operations research, or related field
TS/SCI with eligibility for a CI Polygraph
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position

Preferred

Satellite Modeling and Simulation experience
TypeScript experience
Knowledge of relational databases
Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Helm, Kubernetes)
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
DoD 8570 IAT level 3 (CompTIA Security+) compliant
