Responsibilities
Support cloud engineers by fulfilling requests for cloud configuration changes
Assist in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) automation using Terraform
Troubleshoot problems involving connectivity between on-premise and the cloud, IAM access and other cloud services
Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve system observability, reliability, and performance through comprehensive monitoring and automated incident response
Provide cloud solutions architecture review/guidance to clients and build reference implementations
Implement cost optimization strategies and governance controls across our cloud environments
Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain cloud security controls and respond to security incidents
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field with 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services in a large enterprise
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Security Specialty) are a strong plus
Knowledge of common AWS services used by developers (EC2, EBS, S3, RDS etc.)
Knowledge of AWS security services, especially IAM and KMS
Experience with Terraform, preferably Terraform Enterprise
Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., DataDog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
Demonstrated ability to automate manual processes and build self-service capabilities with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate with engineers across teams and locations
Preferred
Experience with GCP or Azure is a plus
