Responsibilities

Conceptualizing the initial design approach for a major phase of a large project or managing the engineering work on a project of limited scope

Planning, scheduling, conducting, or coordinating engineering work that involves conventional practices and complex design features

Supporting Project Managers by serving as an Assistant Project Manager or Assistant Project Engineer

Providing direction to less experienced engineers or technical support personnel on an as-needed basis

Exercising independent judgment in the evaluation, selection, adaptation, and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria

Identifying additional information needed from internal clients and coordinating directly with them

Making informed decisions regarding alternative procedures when project data or details are incomplete

Ensuring the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of project deliverables while maintaining client satisfaction

Required

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or application submitted and awaiting registration

5+ years of post-graduate civil engineering experience

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships

Experience supporting both design and project management phases of land development projects

Ability to independently manage tasks and coordinate with cross-functional teams
