Pre-Program Intern (Open to work study and non-work study)
The University of Texas at Austin is seeking two detail-oriented and self-motivated student employees for the College of Fine Arts to support Landmarks, the university's public art program. The Pre-Program Intern will assist with preventive care, collections management, examination, documentation, research, treatment, and outreach within Landmarks’ collections department.

Responsibilities
Bimonthly condition checks and reports
Biannual inventory of conservation supplies and preparation of conservation materials
Bimonthly SharePoint Updating and Review
Document and attend LPG Workshops
Project and treatment research as needed
Bimonthly basic cleaning per piece
Conservator supervised monthly treatments (rotating)
Train off-cycle LPG recruits
Manage LPG tracking spreadsheet, answer LPG questions and resupply materials
Write 1x blog per semester
Attend LPG Workshops and AIC Conference Virtually
Additional administrative tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Must be a University of Texas at Austin student, enrolled for at least 6 credit hours
Must be authorized to work in the U.S
Must aim to apply to conservation graduate school in the future
Preferred
1 Active member of Landmarks Preservation Guild
2 Undergraduate student planning to apply to a graduate program for conservation
Work-Study award for the semester
