Responsibilities
Prepare complex tax returns for businesses including, but not limited to, S-corporations, C-corporations, partnerships, and non-profits
Review the preparation of income tax returns prepared by Associates
Assist with the coordination of engagements including client contact, staff requirements, documentation, and timing
Work with more experienced team members to research and solve difficult tax issues to develop the best solutions for clients
Supervise activities of less experienced team members while working on special projects
Begin building strong client relationships to be viewed as a trusted advisor
Obtain skills to promote the firm, attract new clients, and expand business with existing clients
Qualification
Required
BA or BS degree in Accounting or a related field, from an accredited college/university
Active CPA License
2-5 years of public accounting experience
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good judgment and professional skepticism
Excellent analysis and observation skills
Ability to work effectively with co-workers, staff, and clients
Knowledge of accounting software packages and MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
