Greater Green Bay YMCA is seeking a Before/After School Enrichment Presenter to engage with school-age children aged 5-12. The role involves developing and delivering enrichment presentations based on personal passions and interests while ensuring a safe and caring environment for the children.

Responsibilities

Develop and obtain approval of a written lesson plan to ensure a quality presentation prior to any topic presentation

Coordinate and implement an enrichment activity that fit the needs and interests of the children in attendance while involving them with 'hands-on' experiences

Provide a warm, caring atmosphere for the children while treating all children equally with dignity and respect

Ensure that the enrichment activity maintains safe conditions at all times

Act according to facility protocol to ensure safety of all staff and children which includes:

Adhere to policies related to boundaries with staff and children

Attend required abuse risk management training

Report suspicious and inappropriate behaviors and policy violations

Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements

Required

Must possess adequate knowledge of the subject and possess the ability to teach this topic to a group of children

Must be mature and be able to relate well to children, adults, and school/site staff

Reliable transportation to make your way to a variety of SACC program sites in the greater Green Bay area
