Responsibilities

Scoping and delivering a variety of project assignments, including responsibility for budget and schedule management
Performing and managing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, including soil, groundwater, and soil vapor investigations
Performing and managing remediation scopes
Subcontractor management and field oversight
Coordinating with state agencies to navigate Voluntary Cleanup Programs, Brownfields assessments, etc
Data evaluation and report preparation; and
Conducting technical report reviews
Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards
Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness
Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in environmental science or geology with at least 8 years of directly relevant work experience
Experience conducting and managing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
Demonstrated experience working with state agencies to coordinate the cleanup of contaminated properties
Ability and willingness to occasionally perform fieldwork and travel
Operational knowledge of computer databases and office programs (MS Excel, MS Word)
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, resourceful, and organized individual with strong planning and time management skills
Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions

Preferred

Project management experience
Familiarity with navigating Voluntary Cleanup and Brownfields processes
Remediation experience
Current 40 hr. HAZWOPER training, including records documenting original training and refreshers
OSHA 30 hr. construction safety training, Safeland training, first aid training, and CPR training
