RTX is seeking an experienced manufacturing engineer to lead projects in developing machining processes for New Product Introductions. The role involves planning and developing machining processes for new experimental engine hardware and advancing machining technologies for current production parts.

Responsibilities

Cutting tool selection and specification
Process design and tryout
Creation of work instructions
Development of new process technologies
First piece tryout and achieving source approval of developed processes and delivery of new engine hardware

Required

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
Minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing engineering
US Citizenship required
Required Experience: machining processes including turning, milling shaping and grinding; processing aerospace materials including nickel and titanium; process planning and new product development

Preferred

Aerospace manufacturing, new product introductions, rotating hardware, IBRs/Blisks, fan/compressor airfoils, new capital equipment projects, continuous improvement projects, MRL (manufacturing readiness levels) and project leadership
