Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, businesses, and estate and trust taxes
Ensure compliance with current tax regulations and legislation
Identify potential tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profitability
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards
Assist with audits, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Skilled in conducting thorough analyses of complex tax issues, developing strategic plans to address tax liabilities, and implementing solutions to ensure compliance and minimize financial impact
Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsive service
Provide expert advice on accounting and tax matters, helping clients navigate complex financial challenges
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and tax preparation, with a focus on client management
Proven track record of managing complex tax scenarios and delivering exceptional client service
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes and regulations
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks & Pro Series) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical standards
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
Proactive and adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset
Preferred
CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred
