Responsibilities
Able to operate Single and Two Boom Jumbo
Able to operate 6yd and 9yd Loaders
Able to understand different rock types and drilling/blasting procedures to minimize over-break
Able to operate mechanized bolter
Able to operate shotcrete equipment
Able to handle explosives and load rounds in a safe and productive manner
Able to install utilities such as ventilation and air/water pipe
Perform other duties as assigned from time to time at the discretion of the company
Qualification
Required
Ability to work safely and effectively in an underground mining environment required
Stable, consistent work history required
The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role
Preferred
One (1) year underground mining experience preferred
Previous heavy equipment operation experience preferred
