Responsibilities

Provide patient care for adults and children through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health needs

Provide medication management and perform psychiatric evaluations for patients pursuing OP services

Provide psychiatric leadership and direction for the treatment team under the supervision of physician psychiatrist

Required

2-plus years of experience

Licensed and certified PMHNP; ANCC or AANP Board Certified

Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program

Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina

Board certification if required by the Department
