Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate new product opportunities based on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive analysis

Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for new offerings in the instrument transformer space. Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for new offerings in the instrument transformer space

Refresh product vision, strategy, and roadmap for established offerings in the instrument transformer space

Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to develop prototypes and production-ready designs

Lead cross-functional teams through stage-gate product development processes

Conduct voice-of-customer (VoC) research and translate insights into actionable product requirements

Ensure products meet industry standards (e.g., IEEE, ANSI, IEC) and customer specifications

Develop business cases, ROI analyses, and go-to-market strategies

Lead and support marketing and sales efforts with product pricing, positioning, training, and launch materials

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Product Development, or related field

5+ years of experience in product management or new product development in the electric power or utility industry

Proven track record of managing and launching successful technical products

Strong understanding of generation, transmission and distribution level equipment and utility applications

Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills

Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems

Travel: 10% to 20%

Experience with utility procurement and specification processes

Knowledge of power quality technologies, smart grid technologies and digital substations

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

MBA or advanced technical degree
