Responsibilities

Perform advanced engineering design tasks on complex water resource projects

Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support design and assessment of surface water systems and infrastructure

Develop and review hydrologic and hydraulic models and perform simulations

Develop detailed plans, specifications, cost estimates, calculations, and reports, along with permit application support

Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews on projects

Provide mentoring, training, and oversight for staff

Manage water resource related projects and tasks; and

Pursue client management and business development opportunities

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil, Water Resources, or Biosystems Engineering (or related field)

E.I.T. (Engineer in Training) Required

7+ years of water resources engineering experience

Experience mentoring and managing staff

Experience with hydrologic and open-channel hydraulics processes and expertise in modeling these processes

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM HydroCAD, or other water resources software

Preferred

Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Michigan Preferred
