SolveNow is an environmental services company seeking a Staff Environmental Air Engineer to support air quality and permitting projects for industrial clients. The role involves preparing air permit applications, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining communication with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Prepare air permit applications for large-scale projects, including Title V permits

Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal air quality regulations

Apply technical expertise across various complex industrial processes; experience in the refining industry is a plus

Monitor and interpret changes in air permitting regulations, emission calculation methodologies, and compliance standards

Maintain regular communication with clients, regulatory agencies, and other external stakeholders; interest in international project work is welcomed

Ability to contribute to business development by leveraging client relationships is preferred

Support marketing efforts and participate in occasional travel

Perform additional duties as assigned

Required

Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

A Masters degree in a related field may substitute for one year of required experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and external professionals

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Must have a valid drivers license and meet applicable company driving standards
