Model Based Definition Engineer-Secret Clearance

Responsibilities
Create detailed 2D cross-sections, 3D models, and Model-Based Definitions (MBD) within Siemens NX and Teamcenter environments
Conceptualize and design gas turbine components, pushing the boundaries of engineering
Work with cross-functional teams to define dimensional constraints and geometric tolerances, ensuring optimal manufacturing processes
Utilize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to drive improvements in quality, speed, and precision
Navigate CAD and CAM environments, managing projects within budget and schedule, delivering uncompromising quality
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
Minimum of 1 year in 3D modeling of aero-engines and gas turbine components; proficiency in Siemens NX/Teamcenter preferred
Strong understanding of ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing; ability to interpret technical drawings
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage with team members at all levels
U.S. citizenship required; active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
Preferred
Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 1-3 years of product definition experience
Experience with Siemens NX CAD Drafting and MBD, and Teamcenter PLM in designing mechanical engine components
