The Graduate Engineer I will assist Project Manager(s) with engineering design support on various municipal projects, including preparing construction plans, conducting on-site observations, and working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting Project Manager(s) by providing engineering design support on various municipal projects
Assist with the preparation of construction plans and specifications, design calculations, various engineering reports and feasibility studies, bond application reports, quantity and cost estimates, and schedules
Periodically conduct on-site observation of construction projects progress, take measurements, and coordinate with field project representatives and/or contractors
Work assignments will include working both independently and as part of a team
Qualification
Required
B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
Must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam in the state of Texas or be capable of passing, or transferring, exam within the first six months of employment
Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodman's service area (own transportation)
Strong verbal, computer, organizational, and writing skills
Ability to start in 2025 or 2026
