Responsibilities
Own and manage our deal sourcing engine: build and maintain a robust pipeline of M&A and strategic partnership opportunities
Identify high-potential targets through market research, outbound outreach, industry events, banker relationships, and founder networks
Build and maintain relationships with founders, VCs, bankers, and advisors to stay ahead of market activity
Evaluate companies’ fit against our strategy using high-level diligence, financial analysis, and qualitative assessment
Partner with internal stakeholders to translate product and business strategy into sourcing priorities
Collaborates with the Finance and Legal team on deal evaluation, diligence, and execution
Prepares accurate, thoughtful, and concise presentations for senior leadership and Board of Directors
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or in-house corporate development, with a strong sourcing or relationship-building track record
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (required)
Strong M&A deal experience required
Demonstrated ability to identify and originate deals proactively
A strong network in the startup/tech/sector-specific ecosystem and a passion for discovering emerging talent and ideas
Experience in financial modeling and strategic analysis
Excellent communication skills—you can build rapport with founders and C-levels, and pitch our vision credibly
Preferred
MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred
Fin-Tech, Payments, or E-Commerce experience
