Edit all copy prepared for composition
Design and paginate pages for newspaper
Proof all copy after composition
Meet daily with editor or managing editor for consultation and assignment
Maintain regular office hours as assigned by assistant editor
Produce a minimum of two articles for publication each week
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Full-time student
Minimum 2.5 GPA
Newspaper experience, including writing news stories
Must be available to start work Aug. 18, 2025
Must be available for publication deadlines on Sundays and Wednesday nights
Must be available Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. for training
Preferred
Prior newspaper production, including writing, proofing and editing
Thorough knowledge of AP style and BI style
