Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement high-quality solutions, including architectural system design
Facilitate customer discussions to discover key business and technical requirements, and develop implementation plans based on the identified requirements
Provide experienced guidance, feedback, and recommendations to customers based on established best practices
Support the roll-out, adoption, and scaling of provided solutions for customers
Handle customer engagements as a project manager, responsible for scheduling, coordination, communication, and enhancing the customer relationship
Advice on internal tools and processes as a senior member of the technical team
Promote yourself as a subject matter expert and valued member of the community
Assist with proposal development and statement of work definitions
Engage with potential customers on sales calls as a technical resource, advising on product solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or related technical disciplines
3+ years of experience as an Atlassian Consultant, Atlassian Administrator, Jira Administrator, or similar position
Proven track record in implementing solutions, including installations, upgrades, migrations, workshops, integrations, and training for Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc)
A successful history in customer engagement and demonstrated exceptional consulting and influencing skills
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to take a holistic view across a range of domains
Demonstrated expertise in undertaking analysis, evaluation, and translation of customer requirements and feeding them into solutions
Excellent communication skills, including workshop facilitation, written and verbal communication
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Proficiency in technical skills such as command line (preferably Unix), SQL, script development, software configuration, and other related technical skills
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Groovy, Perl, Ruby, Shell Scripting, etc)
Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM principles
Experienced in UAT testing and test use-case development
Knowledge of cloud technologies
