General Manager - Monster Tree Service of Troy

Consumer Services

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations and create efficiencies: crews, equipment, and supplies
Provide training and guidance to field crews in accordance with ANSI and company standards
Monitor crew productivity to ensure goals and targets are being met
Manage fleet and equipment repair and maintenance
Must be familiar with industry safety standards and procedures and is willing to enforce these standards as well as company safety policies
Coordinate with the Sales Arborist to create a daily work schedule for field personnel
Assist the owners with overflow sales estimates
Responsible for the hiring and supervision of all field employees
Coordinate training to ensure all field personnel is properly trained, licensed, etc

Qualification

Business Management DegreeManagement ExperienceCTSP CertificationISA CertificationLogistics ExperienceEmployee Training ExperienceCommunicationLeadership Skills

Required

Degree in Business Management or Arboriculture, Forestry, Environmental Sciences, or equivalent experience
A clean/valid driver's license
Must be familiar with industry safety standards and procedures and is willing to enforce these standards as well as company safety policies
Strong leadership skills: must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and management

Preferred

CTSP and/or ISA Certification desired but not required
Management experience in the tree care industry experience
Successful candidates will excel in logistics and have experience in the day-to-day operations of a business, preferably in the tree care or landscape industries
Excellent communication and leadership skills, prior experience training employees
