Responsibilities
Provide expertise on current and future foreign capabilities in the air / air-defense domains
Collect, analyze, and exploit data from various sources to evaluate a country's integrated air defense systems (IADS)
Author comprehensive threat assessments detailing the results of the above analysis
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience working within the U.S. Intelligence Community
Current Top Secret/SCI clearance with a current full scope polygraph
Knowledge of the IADS kill chain
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted for a degree
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and to adapt to a dynamic work environment that is responsive to world events
Must understand the customer's areas of interest and business processes, and develop analytic products and research lines in anticipation of customer's future needs
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
Preferred
10+ years of experience working within the U.S. Intelligence Community
Experience with ELINT collection and analysis at the operational or technical level
An understanding of radars, radar design philosophy and applications, and use in air space monitoring and weapon control
Experience with analysis tools such as IMOM, ESAMS, EADSIM, SUPPRESSOR, AFSIM, FalconView, GALE, MIST, THRESHER, BVI, or equivalents
Experience developing code for modeling, simulation and analysis of military systems
Knowledge of aircraft, air operations, and air defense systems
Experience developing U.S. weapon systems
Exceptional analytic tradecraft, professional writing, proofreading, briefing and public speaking skills
Demonstrated ability to learn new skills/tools, and a willingness to expand areas of knowledge as required
Bachelor's degree is desired or equivalent life experience
