Responsibilities

Develop and deliver service training courses

Design, build, and maintain appropriate training aids and materials

Conduct hands-on lab exercises in conjunction with class sessions

Schedule instructor led courses and coordinate classroom availability

Administer knowledge and skills assessments and certify mechanics

Work with division supervisors and managers to address training needs

Participate in or conduct monthly branch service meetings

Stay up to date on products and systems

Maintain a strong professional image

Other duties assigned by management

Required

Develop and conduct training programs to train employees and occasionally customers of Thompson Tractor on the repair, installation, maintenance, programming, troubleshooting, diagnostics tooling, proper processes, proper methods and operations of machinery and equipment

Continuous learning in order to maintain an expert level of knowledge on various systems, models, and machines

Moderate overnight travel within the Thompson territory will be required

Attend multi-day out of territory factory led training classes and events each year in order to stay up to date on systems and equipment
