RFP for Legal Counsel in Singapore

They are seeking legal counsel with experience in governance and entity registrations in Singapore to provide legal services for establishing a holding company and related compliance needs.

Responsibilities
Conduct a legal landscape in Singapore to determine the viability of utilizing an entity in Singapore as a holding company for surrounding markets including but not limited to: Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam
Provide PSI with options for entity type inclusive of governance, tax, and legal needs
Complete the application process fully and submit on behalf of PSI
Register or support PSI in registering for any and all necessary business licenses
A kickoff call with PSI
A legal and tax memo for the entity registration, inclusive of information around the holding company
Preparation of PSI’s New Entity Request Form
Preparation and submission of the application to relevant agencies in Singapore
A document and/or packet with a breakdown of the governance and filing requirements for the new entity
Qualification
Required
Experience in governance and entity registrations in Singapore
Experience with entities serving as holding companies in Singapore
Ability to conduct a legal landscape analysis in Singapore
Capability to provide options for entity type inclusive of governance, tax, and legal needs
Experience in completing application processes for business licenses in Singapore
Ability to prepare legal and tax memos for entity registration
Experience in preparing and submitting applications to relevant agencies in Singapore
Ability to provide a breakdown of governance and filing requirements for new entities
Experience dealing with the legal landscape in Singapore
Capability to register a foundation for not-for-profit activities on behalf of a foreign entity
Ability to provide a detailed track record of previous similar work undertaken
Ability to submit a minimum of two (2) client references for similar work in Singapore
