Radiology Technologist [CT/X-Ray] (Full-Time)

Altus Community Healthcare is seeking a Radiology Technologist who will perform radiologic procedures using ionizing radiation while ensuring quality patient care. The role involves conducting both routine and complex CT and X-ray procedures, processing images, and preparing patients for examinations.

Responsibilities

Performs both routine and difficult CT and X-rays
Processes images and patient information through RIS and PACS , or other hard copy parameters
Receives and explains procedures to patients
Positions patients and selects and sets technical factors for DR and CR processing
Assures sterile supplies, contrast materials, catheters or other equipment is readily available and the radiologic room is set up properly
Prepares and administers contrast material (oral, IV, or by enema) as directed by a radiologist
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or equivalent plus graduation from an approved education program in radiologic technology
Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist license -Texas Department of State Health Services
Current BLS (CPR) training

Preferred

2 years as a Radiologic Technologist
