Civil Law Student Intern

NEOGOV is seeking a Civil Law Student Intern to join their team in San Bernardino County. The intern will gain experience by providing legal advice on civil matters, preparing legal documents, and assisting County agencies with legal inquiries.

Responsibilities

Confer and advise assigned County agencies, departments, boards, commissions, and various special and school districts on legal matters
Prepare written opinions and render informal opinions on legal questions
Research and draft ordinances, contracts, agreements, resolutions, and other legal documents; review the same for legality

Required

Must have completed one (1) or more years of law school or be a recent graduate of law school that is accredited by the American Bar Association or the State Bar of California's Committee of Bar Examiners
