Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and inspire a team of full lifecycle recruiters focused on technical hiring across a range of engineering roles and levels

Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Upstart’s engineering recruiting efforts, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives

Serve as a hands-on recruiting expert, setting a high bar through direct engagement with key searches and demonstrating best-in-class recruiting practices

Act as a trusted partner to engineering and product leaders by offering strategic insights, talent market expertise, and regular updates on pipeline health

Build scalable and effective recruiting processes that enhance candidate experience and drive quality, speed, and efficiency

Drive adoption and optimization of recruiting tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems and data reporting frameworks
