Responsibilities
Install and configure security cameras, CCTV systems, and related equipment according to client requirements and industry standards
Conduct site surveys to determine optimal placement of cameras and equipment
Run cables, mount cameras, and set up necessary hardware for monitoring systems
Perform regular maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure functionality and efficiency
Diagnose and resolve technical issues with security cameras and CCTV systems
Replace or repair faulty components and update software as needed
Provide clients with clear instructions and training on how to use their security systems effectively
Respond to client inquiries and provide support for any system-related issues
Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and system configurations
Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities
Ensure all installations comply with local, state, and federal regulations
Follow safety protocols and guidelines during installations and service calls
Stay updated with the latest advancements in security technology and industry best practices
Suggest improvements and upgrades to enhance system efficiency and security
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electronics or a related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in installing and maintaining security systems, CCTV, and surveillance equipment
Proficient in the installation and configuration of security cameras and CCTV systems
Knowledge of networking and cabling, including IP and analog systems
Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in security installations
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working at heights and in varying environmental conditions
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred
Technical degree or certification in electronics or a related field
Relevant certifications in security system installation and maintenance are a plus
