They are seeking a Neurologist to serve as a Principal Investigator, overseeing Phase 1, 2, and 3 clinical trials for innovative treatments in memory disorders and other neurological conditions.

Responsibilities
Lead study team as a Principal or Sub-Investigator, ensuring trials are conducted safely and per protocol
Conduct clinical intake interviews to determine medical eligibility of potential study participants
Educate potential participants about diseases and the benefits of clinical trial participation
Manage the safety of study participants; respond appropriately to adverse events in a timely manner
Perform cerebrospinal fluid collection (lumbar puncture) in diagnostic and therapeutic studies
Provide medical leadership to our team of psychologists and study coordinators
Qualification
Required
Valid license to practice medicine in California (or license-eligible)
Board-certified in neurology or psychiatry
Experience working with older adults in a clinical or research setting
A command of professional spoken and written English
Preferred
Clinical research experience is preferred, but not required
Preferred locations: Inglewood, Long Beach, Oakland, Riverside
