They are seeking Scientific Project Reviewers to assist with the diligence of carbon projects, which involves reviewing proposals based on established quality criteria under the guidance of a senior scientist.

Responsibilities
Assist with project reviews covering a wide range of carbon dioxide removal and reduction technologies
Examine project proposals in the context of six quality criteria
Prepare short reports following a set template for each review
Qualification
Required
Advanced graduate students (Masters or PhD level) in climate science fields (e.g., forestry, engineering, chemistry, environmental science, ecology)
Interest in gaining work experience
Ability to conduct project reviews that follow a set template and examine project proposals in the context of six quality criteria
Ability to work under the oversight of a Carbon Direct senior scientist
Ability to adhere to rigorous QA/QC standards
Ability to operate on a deliverable-based payment schedule based on the anticipated length and complexity of each assigned review
